EduWatch

EduWatch is an application designed to help the Ministry of Education and school staff report, track, and resolve issues in schools in a clear and transparent way. It serves as a central place where problems discovered in schools across the country can be recorded, viewed, and followed up, ensuring that important issues are seen by the right officials and not overlooked. Using EduWatch, school inspectors can visit schools and report any issues they identify, such as repairs that are needed, missing resources, damaged facilities, or technology problems. These reports appear in a simple, easy-to-follow feed that Ministry of Education officials can access at any time to see what is happening in each school. Ministry officials can view issues by school or by region, allowing them to focus on the areas they are responsible for. They can take action on reported issues, leave updates to show that a problem is being addressed, and make their progress visible to others. Once an issue has been resolved, inspectors can return to the school to confirm the fix and update the report to show that the matter has been closed. EduWatch also allows head teachers to report issues directly from their schools, ensuring that concerns can be raised quickly without waiting for an inspection. In addition, regional IT officers are notified of technology-related issues within their regions so they can respond promptly. Overall, EduWatch improves how school issues are managed by giving the Ministry of Education a clear, nationwide view of school needs. It promotes transparency, accountability, and faster responses, helping ensure that problems in schools are properly identified, addressed, and resolved in an open and organized way.
