TVET MIS is a centralized digital application developed to support the management, monitoring, and coordination of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes across Guyana. The system enables the Ministry of Education and TVET institutions to efficiently manage student enrollment, programme offerings, instructor assignments, assessments, and certification data. TVET MIS integrates with the Ministry’s Education Management Information System (EMIS) framework, including OpenEMIS, ensuring consistent and reliable data flow for reporting and planning. It provides real-time visibility into institutional performance, learner progression, and programme outcomes, supporting evidence-based decision-making and policy development. Designed using scalable and interoperable technologies, TVET MIS improves operational efficiency, reduces manual processes, and strengthens transparency across the TVET ecosystem, contributing to national human capital development goals.
